Staff extremely nice. Clean & well setup. The sauce on my spinach & garlic raviolis wasn't very good. The same for a lasagna dish by one of my friends. The othrr 6 dinners were pleased. Tiramsu and Panna cotta were good. I'd go back.

Hug's is a fun gathering spot with many regulars, especially at the Bar! Because the original Hug's is at Sugarloaf Mountain, a lot of folks who ski at Sugarloaf also eat and gather here. Staff is great and guests are friendly. The owner, Beth, is...More
We've been to Hugs twice in the last week; meals were consistently good. Interestingly, we hadn't been before, but their sister restaurant in Sugarloaf (Kingston, ME) came highly recommended when we were up in Rangeley a few weeks back. So after 9 months of living...More

Visited Hugs in February with a small business group. Food was outstanding! and the portions were family sized.- much larger portions that typically found in the Portland area restaurants. We ordered several appetizers for the table and quickly found out that we could have easily...More
I felt that this place is a step above Olive Garden, in that if you want decent, comfort Italian food, it works. However, our service was extremely slow, and none of the food stood out to me as great (not even the pesto bread, which...More
We visited this restaurant for the first time on New'sYear's Eve. Although it was super busy, we had reservations and got in just about on time. Loved the chocolate martinis and cheese sticks which are served instead of bread. There were six of us and...More
