Went here with a large group of family for an 80th birthday party. It was one of the few places I could get a last minute table for 14 over the Holiday break - this should have been a cautionary indication. We had many of the items on the menu given the size of the group. I had a very... More

Foreside Tavern seems to have lost its touch over the past year. Went in for dinner early Saturday night and everything was underwhelming. Fried Calamari Salad was soggy and the fry oil must've been too cold since everything was soaked in grease. Cuban was cold. Bahn Mi had an unpleasant flavor that even my brother in law (who never leaves... More

Stopped in for lunch the other day and once again enjoyed everything - from the quick service to the great simple lunches that featured a mix of specials and regular menu items. Nice having the bagel connection to substitute an "everything' for traditional bread slices. Oh, and the sweet potato fries were a great addition, too !

We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and there were only two other tables occupied at the time. Our server was completely emotionless and responded to our basic questions like a robot. We only ordered light apps and they took 20 minutes and came out cold and under-cooked. The drinks were extremely watered down. We waited... More

I used to meet a friend for lunch at this place and the food, except for the crab cakes, was always good, not great. I had't been to the Foreside in a couple of years. The first sign that things had changed was that the parking lot was almost empty for lunch in the middle of the week. It had... More

The dining spaces are large and you have the option of a booth or table. I had the flatiron steak and grilled pepper/onions with sweet potatoe fries. It was very good. My husband had a bowl of haddock chowder-he loved it.

We frequent the Foreside Tavern often. It is a great place for a drink and quick meal with Family and friends. My only complaint is options. We usually eat in the bar and the menu is limited and and doesn't change enough so I find my self eating the same food.

Foreside Tavern is one of the mainstay dining places in the suburbs north of Portland. Just off Interstate 295 in Falmouth, it offers a good selection of appetizers, main dishes, drinks and desserts. The menu focuses on fairly standard American fare rather than exotic and ambitious cuisine. The beer selection is a strong suit. The prices are not low but... More

This restaurant is overpriced with below average food. We went based on some previous reviews. There are far too many superior choices in town. The service is slow and the food tastes, as if it were frozen, maybe it was, but it definitely was not fresh. If you are looking for food just as good and much faster service, then... More

Great food! Started with the fried clams appetizer - flavorful, just enough crunch and tender! The homemade tartar sauce was really delicious too! My husband had the lobster roll, tasty, but unexpectedly warm meat and not made with mayo. The lobster meat was juicy and rich. I had the haddock pan seared with brown butter and capers. AMAZING! Light and... More
