The Thai Smile restaurant recently moved across the street from its previous location, and it was a good move indeed. It is now more spacious and has a better atmosphere. Reasonably good Thai food with all the dishes that are popular on American Thai menus, plus some good sushi choices as well.

The style of the menu was fresh and fun; great colors easy to read and seemingly authentic English translation. My shrimp stir-fry was full of fresh ingredients (large white onion, mushroom, carrots, shrimp, and red pepper) covered with a delicious peanut sauce. However, the dish was less stir-fried and more of a steamed dish covered in a sauce. The Tom-Yum... More

Stumbled across this restaurant as we were spending a night nearby on our way to Maine Huts and Trails - didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Seated and served quickly, a better and tastier beer selection than many Thai places. Dishes included sweet and sour tofu, mango curry with chicken, banana curry with tofu, enjoyed the... More

The four of us enjoyed a New Year's Eve dinner after a movie (Passengers) across the street. The place was empty at 10 pm but we had a wonderful dinner. They have an extensive menu, excellent service , nice drinks and fair prices. The portions are enormous and very flavorful. Had enough for several doggie bags. Been open only a few... More

Came into restaurant and it was empty. Was served quickly and. Had refill instantly which was nice. My pad Thai was big enough for a couple people. Meal was not that good, sauce was very watery...bottom of dish was sitting in water.

Great Thai nothing more to say-sit down and rub your chopsticks. Lots of choices from mild to hot at your request. If this is one of your favorite cuisines you won't be disappointed.

Food is Good but a little pricey for what you get. Not a great eat in atmosphere a little noisy because of the bar scene. Feels more like a upscale towny bar.

Thai Smile has moved into the red brick building across the street. They have good food, sometimes a little too spicy for me, so always ask about the heat level. May they be prosperous forever.

Not sure what the special take is on this Thai food. It is not like any I have ever had--lots of sweet and pineapple.

I go to this restaurant fairly often. More often when I am going to the University and want a fast, delicious, and reasonable lunch (I always have leftovers because it is huge!) They have an excellent beer selection and have always been very friendly and eager to please. This is a great place to go pre-movie.
