This is one of the local places to eat. It does have a nice, clean atmosphere, but the food is lacking. I ordered the roast beef & it tasted freezer burnt. We had a party of 4 & the food wasn't served at the same time. The turkey was tasteless as well. There aren't many places to eat, this is... More

Harvest House is a nice family restaurant and offers some pretty yummy food. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have never been disappointed with a meal I've had here. The breakfast is a great price and a variety of items are offered.

The folks at Colonial Valley motel suggested this place. While the prices weren't outragous they were up there. Service we received was poor, at best. We had to ask several times for items that should have been routienly brought to our table. When your customers ask for lots of butter and you don't bring any. There is something wrong with... More

We stopped in here during our first two trips into Farmington, and will certainly go again. We were impressed by the waitress's attention to our needs. The shrimp linguini was incredible, and the burger our first time was probably the best I've ever had (and I'm a burger aficionado). The second was still very good, but not up to the... More

We were headed to the Western Mountains for a Thanksgiving buffet at an inn, but the weather caused us to change our plans and eat locally. We chose the Harvest House because we have never been there before and thought we would give it a try. I had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and my husband had the fried seafood platter.... Very good food, service was the best! I has Maine sea scallops. Truly delicious with not much batter. Seafood chowder is a must have. One of the best ever. Waiter gave impeccable service. I will be back.

We both had the stuffed sole with 2 sides. The sauce is very good and the stuffing is not overwhelming. I would say that this is a popular mid price restaurant with a local following. The service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Fresh lobster, shrimp and firm fish make this simply the best chowder I've had in my Maine travels. Pleasant clean family setting plus an awesome traditional burger cooked exactly as ordered, medium, made our visit memorable. Highly recommended.

We had dinner there with 13 friends. They had friendly wait staff and food was wonderful. We wanted to go back for breakfast the next day but to our dismay they don't own til 10:30 (but serve breakfast "all day") lol

Thank Stacy G
