On our numerous trips to Maine, my wife always wants to stop in Freeport to go to LL Beans. After a bit of shopping, we always stop at the nearby Lobster Cooker restaurant for some deliciously thick and creamy New England clam chowder. Generous amounts...More
Thank you Alan! We will see you on your next trip!
After spending a couple hours in L.L.Bean it was time to get out of the crowd and noise and have a drink. We found the Lobster Cooker highly rated so thought we would give it a try. It is well worth the trip. Food was...More

We stopped here for lunch on the way to The Samoset Resort. LL Bean is a must when in Maine. This little restaurant was a perfect find. Their Clam Chowder was one of the best I have had, and I've had it all over the...More
Thank you very much!
We always have lunch here whenever we visit Freeport. Their haddock is always a great choice...and today I had the best lobster roll I've ever had...your choice of butter or mayo...no fillers, just the best!!
Thank you Claudette!
The lobster bisque is absolutely amazing! Great for dinner or lunch. A little pricy but the quality of the food was well worth it

Thank you very much for your review. We do offer counter service down stairs, with seating available inside or out. Our staff is accustomed to the stairs, it is just how we are set up!
Stopped for lunch and we ordered fish and chips. There was a wait so not a good place to go if you are in a hurry. There were several pieces of fish cooked to perfection--not a lot of heavy breading. Fries were good too. Highly...More
