I had the lobster roll and it was delicious. Huge chunks of meat, almost no mayo. You could also get it with butter instead. Nothing fancy. Order at counter and find a seat. It would be nice in the summer when you can sit outside. Fries were really crispy - almost transparent. Great service - very friendly people. I will... More

Oh me! The food was delicious. We tried the lobster bisque, lobster roll, red dogs, and shrimp basket. The lobster roll was my favorite! My son loved the shrimp. The waitress was phenomenal!

Was shopping at LL Bean and stopped in to the Lobster Cooker for lunch. The crab roll was delicious. Lobster bisque also very good. Would definitely eat here again.

If you have ever been to Freeport the first thing you notice is the lack of food. This is a newer place to eat. Call it fast food seafood. meals range from sandwiches at under 10 dollars to platters ranging from 11-18. The have local clams, and lobster as well as fish dishes, fried and grilled. The also make homemade... More

The last time we were in Freeport in 2015, the ALobster Cooker was closed. Yesterday we were in Freeport and we were glad to see it open again. So we went there for lunch. We had the haddock sandwich and the lobster roll. My wife really liked the lobster roll, here served with nice had cut fries. I liked my... More

Had the lobster roll ($18) and clam chowder ($5/cup). Very little "clam" in the chowder. Lobster roll was good, but never had it before so can't compare.

We stopped there for a light supper last evening. We went upstairs to the pub and enjoyed a relaxing hour. There are screens all around the small pub to watch your favorite sports show. We ordered the lobster rolls which were amazing and loaded with Maine lobster on a bed of greens. The only negative was that it was served... More

After shopping at the outlets, my friend and I wanted to have dinner in a restaurant close by; we stopped at "Lobster Cooker". The inside decor is very informal; you order in the front and then sit at the tables in the rear. The food is served on paper plates and the utensils are plastic. We both ordered lobster rolls... Stopped here for lunch before visiting LL Bean. Three of us had lobster rolls & one had the mussels. We all had clam chowder, it was great. Lobster rolls with mayo were a hit & the mussels pleased as well. Kinda a sports bar, but not to loud. A good choice.
