It is just that there are lots of ways to prepare and serve BBQ and being a big fan of ribs and brisket, I wasn't exactly overwhelmed with flavor when I ordered these at Bucks. Brisket lacked a smoke but was moist and tender. Which is fine. Ribs were a... More

We spent the weekend in Freeport and had lunch here. Even though the place was packed, our meal arrived in literally five minutes and was absolutely delicious. The wings are to die for and their homemade sauces are unique and tasty!

The food was good, and the service was good as well. It was a little noisy for us, but a great place to go if you have young children. They have a play area in the back with the 3 little pigs houses they can play in.

My husband and I stopped in at Buck's after drinking beers at Maine Brewing Company. We also had our dog with us so needed something fast. On the upside the food was decent and came out extremely fast. On the downside my ribs and my husbands pulled pork were drier than we expected. My greens and baked beans were delicious... More

We eat here whenever we want barbecue. Buck's sides are very good, the portions are just right (always a bit leftover for lunch the next day), and the service is wonderful as well.

They advertise themselves as family friendly, I didn't know that meant there would be a kid's playground in the restaurant. Because of that it was very noisy. The food seemed fresh but didn't have much flavor. I had the fried chicken sandwich. The twice fried French fries were a little oily and only about half of them were edible. If... More

Really great pulled pork and barbeque pork but really on the higher priced side. We got food to go and it was packed really well with extra sauce in plastic containers - very nice touch.
