My wife and I visit the White Mountains region several times a year, and we tried this restaurant on our most recent visit, based on the recommendation of a local business owner. We so pleased with the entire experience, that we will absolutely visit for dinner at least once every time we travel to the area. Due to an incident... More

This gem has it all. Ambiance, service and food are outstanding. Excellent salads, entrees and desserts. I can't recall having a better filet than I had here.

We love that you love what we do here!! Though our menu changes several times a year, the Grilled Filet Mignon is one entree that remains on all menus, though the preparation may change seasonally. It has been a long time favorite of our regular guest and a testimony to the fact that excellent quality makes a real difference. Have... More

Creative local food with a nice flair and attentive service. The fried oysters were an amazing appetizer, and the tuna and salmon dishes were very well prepared and presented.

A wonderful country inn with outstanding service and culinary delights.I had the Surf and Turf Far Diavolo-sirloin tips and Maine lobster...my wife had Seared Bulgogi Glazed Duck Breast. These wonderful dishes were topped off with a great Indian Pudding. The oustanding food was only exceeded by the wonderful service provided by the staff.

Thank you ntpeirce for sharing your experience. For our style of service we typically allow 2.25 hours per table and do suggest reservations. That being said if we had known you were rushed by all means we could have provided a more hurried pace of service. I'm sorry if you feel that 52 minutes was an unreasonable time to spend... More

Went there for dinner this past weekend to celebrate a special birthday. Started off in the tavern for drinks and a "small bite". We had the very small cheese fondue, which came with 3 small pieces of bread (there were 4 of us), a few pieces of Apple, and a few pieces of kielbasa. This was $10 and would normally... More

Thank you, Green Pastures 2016 for taking the time to share your feedback. I really appreciate the comments on the quality of the food. If you dream of the perfect meal in the perfect setting inside a beautiful Maine Inn, then this is the place. Skip the usual tourist trap restaurants in North Conway and drive the extra 20 minutes to the Oxford Inn.

Had dinner with friends during a cottage weekend at this charming inn with nice decor and friendly service. The appetizer that was a hit at our table was the pork stuffed rice cakes with ginger. Favourite main courses were the seared tuna and the beef with gratin potatoes and kale desserts were a disappointment as the pumpkin brioche lacked tastes... More
