Beautiful decor.Nice choice of food available from the menu or specials board, our food was excellent and well presented, all agreed one of the best meals we had eaten. Will certainly be... More

We do use this place regularly despite it being a bit out of our way. Today we enjoyed a warm welcome from Kirsty, who is shining example to customer service, sat in front of a warm log fire to have a drink whilst choosing our food. We ate in the garden restaurant which benefits from plenty of natural light, our... More

A midweek group outing of 4 for a 63rd birthday. Hardly setting the world on fire but still needing a nice location with good food. Very impressed with the small but creative menu that is on offer, food portions were generous and very well prepared all with fresh ingredients. There was a small blip with items not being available and... More

Fantastic flavoursome and beautifully presented food served in tastefully decorated surroundings. The wine by the glass was of excellent quality which is something that is often lacking at other similar establishments. We had a wonderful time.

Visited with family for Sunday Lunch booked for 1.15pm. Service was extremely slow and it was at least an hour later when we got our meals. The food was very good, no complaints there. We asked for sweet menu which was brought quite quickly but it took a long time before the waitress realised she had not taken our orders.... More

I can't remember the last time I came away from a pub/restaurant having enjoyed every aspect of my visit. I had lunch with 3 friends,... We found the welcome to be friendly warm and helpful, the decor and ambience just lovely, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. I do have a dietary requirement and was joined by the chef to check...
