You really should have 5 stars! The food and drinks were wonderful. The staff was efficient and friendly. So why only 2 stars? I was troubled by your "decorations" as were other non-Catholic members of our party. Throughout your restaurant you are using icons, pictures and statues of Catholic religion. This seemed inappropriate and, I would guess, highly insulting to... More

Pedro's in Lower Village Kennebunk is the only Mexican restaurant in the Kennebunks and has become a very popular place. It is notoriously crowded, especially on weekends and especially when they have live music. The restaurant itself is small. In the warmer months they have a patio that literally doubles the seating and they have a fire pit and interesting... More

Food was fresh and tasty. It was not your typical "American" Mexican food. Only complaint is the portion sizes were small for price. I've also lived in New Mexico and Arizona and my expectations were really high. Only to find I could make it better myself. Don't get me wrong it was better than anything around like On The Border... No I normally would not give any place that tried this kind of review. However when I called to find out if thee were open, We got carried away doing other things and it was late, 7:30 the answer was yes, with the comment that as long as someone was eating they would be open other wise they would close... I generally aim for fresh seafood when in Maine, but a little Mexican is fun now and then. And Pedro's has definitely cornered the Mexican market in Kennebunk. This is a boisterous, often crowded place where you get authentic south-of-the-border food, friendly service, and outstanding Margaritas if that's your thing. You can get meals with or without the rice/bean sides,... More

Always go to Pedro's because when it's good it's great. Drinks are always good. Service and food are sometimes average.

It's okay...at best. If you have a hankering for Mexican food then eat here. But other than the guacamole, nothing was really outstanding, or even very good. It's just a loud, noisy place that serves rather ordinary food.

Excellent menu with great choices and superior food. The service was prompt and caring. The décor is interesting and fun with sombreros, statues and bright colors. We went twice during the week that we were there and wished that we lived closer. Always a delightful experience.

I was lost, wandering in the dark, pitiful forest filled with Chipotle and Moe's restaurants. Thankfully, I was pulled from the depths of mediocrity and darkness by Pedro's, a restaurant that not only aims to please, but also, to transform boys into men. I went in clean shaven, wearing skinny jeans, white flip flops, and a straight-brim backwards cap. I... More
