My family of 4 stopped here for a quick lunch. The staff were friendly, the sandwiches were delicious and the bathroom spotless! All the criteria for a 5 star review. Rolls were soft and fresh, the roast beef was tender and cut nicely into small bites which made it easy to eat. Would definitely return and recommend.

Both the parking lot and the seating area are small. Immediately after entering is the order window. From there one can see the roast beef being carved. The Henry VIII is a good quality roast beef sandwich served with home made horseradish sauce on a good quality bun. It was less than five minutes from ordering until the food was... More

Visited Henry's for the first time last Fall, the roast beef with horseradish dressing is to die for, the roast beef is excellent, the bread soft and crusty. Had a side of potato salad, very good not too much mayonnaise, nice texture. This February drove from Boston to Henry's for a fix. Can't wait to go again. .

I can't say enough about how great the sandwiches are at this quaint little spot. I stopped in today with my husband for a late lunch. There were a handful of people standing inside the door studying the large menu on the wall. I quickly decided that I wanted the Beefeater so stepped up to order. By the time I... More

We have been going to Henry viii for years, and I had to respond to the previous reviewer who clearly either doesn't understand quality or has never been there. First of all, the roast beef is consistent and served wonderfully rare at all times. Unlike the Massachusetts places Henry's uses only Certified Angus and proudly displays that fact on the... More

I had driven by this place dozens of times and was intrigued by the name, and I like an occasional roast beef sub, so I stopped by. I got the Henry VIII roast beef sandwich with the homemade horseradish sauce. It was delicious, with a nice homemade roll. They offer a variety of roast beef sandwiches as well as other... More

I truly wanted to like this place....especially as owner is a very nice guy....but dang, there is hardly any roast beef on these sandwhiches....and they are in chunks to boot, not sliced. Plus, you never know if it will be rare (my preference) or tough and well done. VERY expensive for what you get. You are way better off to... More
