We called on Sunday night as we heard the live music playing in the pub. When we opened the door it was pretty empty but we stayed for three pints as the duo playing were pretty good.Prices were reasonable and bar staff friendly enough Not a bad wee spot

Rockin Roaster is now open in same location. The Phoenix closed and the building has been renovated and has reopened as Rockin Roaster. Unfortunately so far the new venue is warm mugs varied brew selection non of which we consume pub food not worth the price Hoping for More

Just heard someone bought the Phoenix Restaurant. This is great news cause we stopped going there except to have a drink. The food was way overpriced and terrible. The service was slow and not intelligent. Best news I've heard about the mountain this year. Can't wait to try the new Phoenix out immediately.. It is one of the best locations... More

I'd give 2.5 stars if I could. The pulled pork would get negative stars though if it were allowed. The only reason it would get 2.5 stars is because others in the group said their food was good. I know that some owners of restaurants and managers actually read this stuff so I'm going to offer some advice. Either stop... More

The chef/ owner, Gorden, worked with us to develop the menu that reflected our gourmet tastes and the families's heritage that we wanted to reflect ( Mediterranean, French) and everything from... We were a little nervous that the upstairs dining room was very fancy and we were not dressed fancy and weren't looking for a fancy meal. This wasn't the case. The Phoenix has a phenomenal view of the slopes at Sunday River with a very down to earth menu. The upstairs dining room is super cool with leather couches at... More
