We own a place on Saddleback Mountain and had been told over and over again that eating at the Gingerbread House was worth the drive. We went for dinner. The steak was amazing. We have yet to go for breakfast, but we are hoping to go in the near future as we have heard only excellent comments / reviews about... More

Being great fans of that particular seafood, my husband & I went to try them out. They were served with garlic fries, and vegetables. (We were never able to try the vegetables, because we enjoyed the oysters & fries... More

The fish portion was HUGE. My fries were very weird. They were hard and dry. The rest of the meals were good. Dad's Ruben... More

This place has had some difficulty the last few years....so now with a new chef hopefully they will be able to stay open...would hate to lose this restaurant. We were there Columbus Day weekend....soup extremely salty and my roasted vegetable curry was not "roasted"...same steamed veggies that my partner had on his plate with some grape tomatoes thrown in. It... More

We eat here a couple of times one breakfast and one lunch, The only problem with breakfast was the size ,we ordered two plain each and we only managed half of one each, they were fantastic and we opted for the optional extra of pure Maine maple syrup,a must have. The second visit was just as good we had different sandwiches... More

We chose Gingerbread House to have lunch as the midpoint of our scenic loop. There were a number of restaurants to choose from, but the name and design of the building drew us in. Service was wonderful and pleasant, and the kitchen was generous in accommodating a special request. The food was hot and delicious! Three of us enjoyed perfectly... More
