Who would have thought you could get delicious southern food like collard greens, shrimp and grits, etc. in Maine? Well you can. Everything we had was well prepared and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and quick, despite the restaurant being full for dinner. Would certainly...More

Being from the South, I had to try Maine's spin on Southern Food. We went for breakfast and I am happy to say the food was awesome. The place is small, so you may have to wait, if you are not there early. Now to...More

A small restaurant, with no parking, but walk her- it is well worth it. Some of the best sides I have had in Portland. The Fried Chicken was capital.

The food was amazing ...small restaurant worth the wait. Just a few blocks outside of the busy downtown. Kids loved the Mac and cheese said it was the best they have had. I don’t think they can accommodate large parties (more than 8) bc most...More

Great to be able to have coffee and relax outdoors under an umbrella. Fabulous coffee. Good menu choices. My husband loved the hash here and had several times. The eggs benedict were very good. Definitely worth a visit

We went this morning for breakfast. Our waitress was not at all attentive. We were seated outside, and the table was not yet setup, which was fine. Our party had four guests, when the menus were brought over they also brought 2 sets of silverware....More

I order fish tacos a great deal. These spicy catfish tacos were some of the best I have ever had. This small, charming, eclectic place was a for sure return place.

Out of all the places we ate in Portland, this was by far the best. We went there initially because there was a $1 oyster happy hour but ended up having sauteed calamari with pickled hot peppers over grits, Nashville hot chicken, stuffed soft shell...More

Parking is a challenge. There is no lot for the restaurant. Depending on what time I day we go for dinner, we often have found a spot out front, or may park on a side street. The restaurant is worth it, so we would even park... More

The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle,Pulled Pork Mac n' cheese, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.
