seven of us had a terrific dinner at Grace in Portland. The menu is interesting, creative and well prepared. The choices included a range of eclectic appetizers, entrees of fish, steak, pork and pasta all equally well prepared and delicious. Unsurprisingly, Grace occupies a former church. The atmosphere is comfortable, warm and spacious with a large and welcoming bar. Our... More

The venue, the food, the service.... this one is the complete package. It's not cheap, but if you're looking for something special this is it.

Nice enough. Comfortable environment in an old church. Great view of the kitchen - and that's my criticism. The guy we called "the finisher" touched every meal before it was served. He also kept touching his hat and his face and his nose and then the food. NEVER washed his hands. Pretty disgusting. We had a good view as the... More

My boyfriend chose Grace for our Valentine celebration dinner on Feb 18, 2017. I had never been there before, so it was a new and fun experience. Our server, Madison, was very sweet and friendly and did a nice job of making us feel welcome. I ordered flank steak which was tender and delicious. We shared an app of "Hawaiian... More

We came for dinner this weekend and had a reservation at 5 PM and we were seated right away upstairs in an excellent location. The place is absolutely amazing inside and very inviting. The lighting is dim, which made it a little hard to read the menu. The food choices were good, smaller portions than I had expected, but overall... More

Grace is for great for the wanderers & the city people off to a show. Fancy a cocktail while watching the cooks master magic from the 2nd level bar. Romance your sweetheart over freshly prepared cuisine. All Staff excels at accommodating every detail.

My friend and I have started a new tradition of meeting in Portland within a few weeks of the holiday season ending. She buys dinner and I take care of the hotel. She lives north of Portland I live south of Portland so it's a great place for us to connect. Dining at Grace has been on our bucket list... More

The setting is spectacular! We were seated on the upper level perimeter and had a marvelous view of the old church and the main level. Our server was excellent, cordial, helpful and professional. We began with green salad for me and soup for him, followed by browned chicken with blueberry jus for me and venison for him, and finished with... More

Food was fantastic. Very cool interiors. A bit cavernous, but it is an old church. Our meal was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go back when in Portland.

What a neat idea to convert an old church into a restaurant. You could spend hours looking at all the ways the proprietors retrofitted the space to their needs without compromising the beauty of the church itself. The service and food were amazing. The food and drink menus were creative and what I ordered was very tasty. I'd come here... More
