This place kicks it up a notch for breakfast or brunch - whichever is your pleasure. From the cocktails to the bacon to the duck fonit hash it is all good. I strongly recommend stopping by here for a meal and enjoying your lazy weekend.

A very short walk from the Marriott Residence Inn, a blessing in last night's noreaster. Delicious meal, one of the best ever.Side salad with flavorful dressing. Fried Brussel sprouts. And the dessert, profiteroles, were to die for. Light pastry with creamy filling surrounded by deep chocolate.

What appears to be a little neighborhood cafe turns out to be a first-class restaurant. A chicken liver pate on toast was the perfect accompaniment to a dry martini. Fish and chips seemed a dull choice, but it wasn't: a crisp, dark cylinder of crust held a serving of perfectly cooked fish, the whole resting on a bed of seasoned... More

East Ender is a really nice spot for dinner. Every dish was very good, and unlike many other good restaurants in Portland these days, there are many very reasonably priced options. Our server was very friendly. We'll definitely go back.

I walked into this place and immediately knew they would have the best onion rings ever; and boy was I right. My burger was cooked PERFECT. The food came out right on time, everything was what you would ever expect. This eclectic little waterfront restaurant is amazing. Fantastic cocktails, amazing service, and HUGE ice cubes. I love this place, don't... More

My husband and friends went here as we were all in the Portland area visiting. The servers were friendly and that was nice. The food was nothing to rave about, mediocre at best. It's highly over priced due to the lack of quality. My rural community further north has much better alternatives. The quality was low enough that none of... More

We have been wanting to try east ender for a while and finally got to experience this palce. We went as a group of 4 on a Friday night and were able to make reservations that same day which was nice. The decor is nothing to rave about. The service was great. The menu seems like classic dishes nothing to... More

With the most amazing places to eat in portland- this is probably the worst. Too many bad things to even mention. The 'seafood chowder' special was served with huge hunks ( needed a knife !) of hard potato and the fish was thrown on top of the stew in big hunks, probably from another menu item? The other 3 people... More

On this first Monday in October on a sunny and beautiful fall day, 2 Cruise ships were docked in Portland. We could see part of the ship from our cosy window table on the first floor of the restaurant. There is a full bar and more tables upstairs, and a few tables outside. We were the first one to arrive... More
