This restaurant is a great place to eat if you don't feel like fast food. Well located, lots of options so you can build your own taco/burrito.

I will start with the food. I had a fried avocado taco. Yeah, it was amazing. Getting there was a little rugged, though. We were told the wait for a table would be 25 minutes - so we ordered drinks and stood next to the door. For an hour. It was nice that we were given the option to order... More

Went here with a few friends last night, and let me tell you something. I'd rather deal with Pablo Escobar, than Taco Escobar. If I had a nickel for every moment we spent on the toilet I'd be as rich as the Columbian drug cartel. We are dairy free, and for this reason, asked for no cheese in the meal.... More

We were in Portland for a long couples weekend with our friends. While my husband was getting tattooed my friends and I did a mini bar tour and stumbled across Taco Escabarr. What a find! The place is cozy, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The drinks were cold and the food was unbelievable! The décor was funky and... More

Taco Escobarr is a small, fresh food Mexican restaurant. We arrived around 530, apparently right before the dinner crush. When we left, there was a line. Parking in Portland is mostly on street or in paid garages. We found parking a few blocks away - 5 mins, which helped to walk down dinner. The music was early 80s, enough to... More

Went here after work late night and sat at the bar. The drinks were good and so was the food. I order chips and guac, and chorizo hard shell tacos which were so tasty! Is recommend this to anyone craving Mexican food. The vibe in the restaurant is chill and laid back and service was friendly. Great spot to stop... More

Great place for a bite on the street! Tacos were excellent as were the apps. Nice place to enjoy the food and people watch on a busy Saturday night

A friend and I spontaneously went here one weeknight after attending a foodie event, which turned out to be overly crowded. At this opening event, you had to wait in long lines to be served, mostly. We wanted food and drink, and knew we could get it at Escobar. It was warm enough to sit outside, so we did. Another... More

This is above average Mexican food and I really like the choices. One side of the menu are the fillings which range from beef and poblano to chicken and chipotle. And the other side is how you want it.....be it taco, burrito, enchilada, etc. The chicken and beef were very spicy, fine for my taste but the beef filling was... More
