We stopped in here for dinner. It is a small place with a few tables. The seafood is fantastic! We had the king crab legs. They were done perfectly and they even had Guinness on tap. there is no better combination than Guinness and seafood....More

Just average...we ordered oysters which were pricey compared to other places. Scallop dish baked in casserole dish with a honey glaze...so much for real flavor! Service was a okay but a bit snippy. Place is busy but maybe they just want customers in and out?

Nothing wrong with food, but nothing special either. Having been told we had to wait, we accepted that, but found others went in ahead, so this coloured our view.

A pretty small, and low key place. We sat at the bar and ordered oysters and they were awesome! I had a lobster roll and my husband had their Rueben sandwhich. Everything was fresh and delicious! Great spicy bloody Mary’s as well. Can’t wait to...More

If you like to eat where the locals eat...J’s is the place! It’s not elaborate inside, but the half shell Maine oysters and lobsta are amazing! The lobster is sweet and yummy!

Good food. More of a bar atmosphere. The seafood casserole was good-just very rich. My kids had the crab roll. Chips seemed stale and the salad dressings were packets of Newman’s own dressing. I think if you are looking to have drinks and eat lobster,...More

Very fresh, delicious seafood. The best lobster and oysters I've ever tried. Interior is very basic. Good service and nice view.

This is the spot locals head to in Portland for Seafood- it’s no thrills and don’t expect people to bend over backwards for you. Great spot for a drink and some grub.

No. And it gets pretty crowded on weekend evenings. When you arrive, give your name to the staff by the register inside the main entrance; they will put you on a list.
