We went here for dinner as a couple - we had reservations. We were seated prompty when we arrived and from the minute we sat down, our waitress was so attentive. The best part was that we never felt rushed at all. We felt like...More

Scallops were fresh, and served perfectly cooked, with a bit of a spicy kick. Veggies, often ignored, were also perfectly prepared...hot, with some crunch. Kim Crawford SBlanc in a half bottle made for a perfect dinner!

Enjoyed Happy Hour here yesterday. $3 beers, $2.50 oysters. The beer selection includes a wide variety of premium brands--unusual for Happy Hour offerings. Nice decor. Great service. We'll be back for a full dinner next time. Only caveat: The room has no sound absorption so...More

Just had lunch at the Old Port Sea Grill. Excellent service. Great Sicilian white with local mussels, clams and oysters. And you MUST try the clam chowder..

Great restaurant with fun oyster bar. However we chose quieter restaurant side. Amazing fun, beautifully lit aquarium. Our waitress was great but our lobster penne and salmon salad entrees were amazing. We look forward to returning.

Come here for seafood. We walked in on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was pretty empty. We all sat at the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers. The seafood was very tasty and fresh. We tried the shrimp cocktail, calamari and oysters. All were...More

Charming restaurant in the old port area. Delicious seafood, one of the best chowders I've had. We dined in the bar area around 5:00 p.m. and it was happy hours with specially priced drinks. Comfortable, not so loud that you couldn't talk. Friendly and attentive...More

No, does not have outside tables, but if you can sit in the tables in front of the big windows, you feel as if you are outside!

Description
TO VIEW OUR CURRENT MENU, please visit our website. The Old Port Sea Grill, opened in the fall of 2002, is located in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district. Our modern interior features a custom concrete bar, a large lounge area and a dining room that can accommodate up to 60 guests and features a 250 gallon salt water fish tank. Our seafood driven menu focuses on a variety of local and imported fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on east coast cold water oysters and other raw bar offerings. We pair that with a food-friendly wine list, local craft-style beers on draft and an extensive cocktail program to make for an exciting dining experience.
