I promise to eat and review food on my next visit. But I saw this place and had an urge for a cold beer on tap. "What a great idea", my friend said, knowing I was buying. Stella on tap has got to be the best Belgian lite beer there is. But it doesn't at all taste like a lite... More

What we loved: Beer selection, nice mix of local, semi local crafts at reasonable prices. All the meats, especially the smoked wings and the pulled pork. Nice selection of homemade sauces. The mac n cheese was great and so were the baked beans (beans and brisket) What could be better: deserts were just average (pecan pie, and brownie). It's not... More

Our table tried the special- roast o jus, chicken Parmesan with marinara pasta, hamburger dish and chicken pot pie. Everything was very good. We even substituted the pasta with Caesar salad without problems for a carb-free meal.

A typical ski resort pub and grill. While the location is outstanding for its views, and while the facility is warm and inviting, the price of a meal is perhaps the highest we have ever paid for pub dining. Food is good but not for the price tag. Choices are limited, because it really is mostly pub fare (sandwiches, appetizers... More

Good burgers, very good chicken wings and onion rings! Sweet potato fries were not the best I've had, not super hot or crispy, but decent. The duck fat fries with truffle ketchup were very good as well. They were out of a few beers we ordered, but still a pretty good beer selection. Overall we enjoyed the pub at the... More

Fireside dining is a new dining choice at Saddleback for Friday and Saturday nights. We dined on two Saturday nights. We definitely will choose this again. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and is a nice change from the pub style food on the Swig and Smelt.

The good: It's a big place with plenty of seating, our waitress was super-friendly, and if you happen to be at Saddleback it's the only restaurant for miles. The not-so-good: The food was average at best and the prices are a little high given that the portion sizes aren't large. And I have to admit that I was hoping for... More

We ate here on a Friday night during ski season. The place was pretty empty. Not much in the way of ambiance. Service was okay. The food was disappointing in quality and preparation, and the portion sizes were strangely small. The selection of beers was probably the highlight of the place. Menu was pretty standard pub fare appetizers, burgers, sandwiches,... More

This is a seasonal operation that is often undertsaffed during peak apres ski hours.. often staffed by rookies trying to figure out an over loaded rush hour.. great on a midweek powder day to throw back some hero beers and tell stories of epic powder runs

Thank you for your posting. This year we have a new team in the Pub and expect things to go much smoother by placing additional staff during busier times at the resort. Hope to see you at the mountain More

Food was standard pub fare with several micro brews to sample. The chef made the wings hot and my husband really appreciated that!
