Had a great time at breakfast, but the food was actually inedible. I had a veggie omelette that was so runny inside it made me nauseated after a couple bites, and I left it. My husband had scrambled eggs that were so dry he mixed them with mine to make edible. Coffee was fine. Great view, great mood.

I only stopped here to purchase wine. They had a fantastic array of all kinds of wines at most reasonable prices. Didn't take time to look around but do believe they had some wonderful buys and exemplary choices.

The keg is an easy spot to get in and out of when you need to pick up little supplies and snacks with a spectacular view and a small town feel however freshness of food is questionable.

The crabmeat used for their crab roll has mostly crab. I'd say there is only enough mayo to act as a binder. Ask for it to be grilled. They put it on the flat-top long enough for the roll to get golden and crunchy. It's a round roll and crabmeat. That's it. No celery, no lettuce it is the purest... More

The seafood at the Keag is not so great...heavy and fried. They do have the best pizza we've ever had in Maine. We were served the worst fish chowder we've ever had. Watery, slimy fish and a few boiled potatoes. Totally tasteless. Yuck. They have a liquor store and basics for groceries.

The coffee was good, the eggs were fresh and the people were pleasant. And reasonably priced. It's a very local type place which is fun because we have nothing like this in Connecticut. Would definitely eat or shop here again.

My lobster roll was decent, not great. Not cheap. The food is usually adequate and not expensive. The counter person was in a bad mood and that was awkward. I've been coming here for at least 15 years and it's usually reliable for a quick meal.

Previous reviews and recommendations by locals had our hopes up. Yes the building is old and combines a grocery store with a diner, but that was about it. The cashier/employee was the first person we met after a week in Maine who was less than friendly, bordering on rude. Burgers weren't bad but neither did they dazzle. Ok food, less... More

Need staples, an ATM, a quick lobster roll? Stop by the "Gig" Store. It's the heart of the town and an unrivaled convenience. The lobster rolls are almost as good as Waterman's! Take a moment to stop and enjoy one by bay.

I had lunch here a few days ago- Wow! This is an old general store with all of the ambiance of the 1940s- The menu is typical, fairly priced and good. The people couldn't be friendlier. I loved it!
