We chose this place for a family get-together based on a recommendation from a friend and also a good looking website. Because we had a small baby with us we were given a table with a little extra space. Unfortunately it was in a main...More

This is a pretty pub in the heart of the beautiful Chilterns. Unfortunately our meal was far from tranquil. On a Friday evening another patron had brought their dog into the pub. Now I don't mind if the dog lies quietly, but this one didn't....More
Although busy we didn't have to wait long for our food to be served. Good food, a few chuncks of big cut chips (not my favourite, but anyway), friendly staff. And a very cosy place to sit inside. Outside, the view is just very marvelous....More
Having been stuck on motorway for nearly two hours, 3 of us arrived past the end of lunch service and we were initially refused food. However, after a bit of begging and pleading they reversed their policy, handed us the menu and asked us to...More

I went here with 6 friends and 17 children! The staff were amazing and the food went down really well. We failed to make it to the windmill but had a lovely afternoon. Thanks again, Adam.
Very nice country pub in small village at the foot of the hill with the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang windmill. Service was good and the food excellent. Large garden with great views.
