Great views especially at high tide. The food is good but the prices and amount of food needs improvement. If you're hungry you might have to order two meal's. I think the owner should consider keeping the high prices but increase the portions.

Just a great spot to stop for lunch or dinner.Always unique items on the menu as well as local seafood. The best feature is the outside deck on the water ,full sevice and full bar.Don't miss the desserts as well.Seasonal

I was here with a largish group of artist friends. The food was fantastic, the view delightful, and the service impeccable. Since it was a cool and breezy evening, we ate in the tent rather than on the pier but still had a great view. My broiled flounder entree was fresh and perfectly prepared (it can so easily be dried... More

A solid place. Good, if uneven food. They pack people tightly, oft sharing tables outside. Some dishes good. Others miss mark. Staff very nice. Space by bar is better than space on wharf for interacting with locals (if not as picturesque and crowded as outside).

We went to the Slipway for lunch. Fun to sit outside and have a great view of the water. Blacken halibut sandwich was amazing. A little overpriced but a great spot to eat.

Stopped there for lunch got the special marinated halibut over greens sounded good, but when I got it I couldn't find any halibut but one fork full. Come on for $15 dollars I think You could put a little more. I can't believe the owner don't read the reviews, almost every customer complains about how little is served for the... More

The only good thing about this place is the view! Other than that, don't even bother!! We ate here on Aug 20 around 3pm. I've never had such rude service in my life!! Our server was such a snob but the outdoor bartender was even worse!! The food was just okay, but definitely not worth the price. I rarely write... More

While in the area we stopped at Slipway Restaurant and what a delight. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating including a wonderful pier deck extending out into the water. The food was excellent we had fired oyster (one of my guilty pleasures), mussels, and the haddock fish cakes. I already stated that fried are one of my guilty pleasures... More

Have eaten here a couple of times over the past couple of years. I have yet to have a "wow" experience. The food is okay. The service is fine. At a recent visit with my sister-in-law, I ordered the fish and chips and she had a chicken dish. Hers was served on a plate, nice presentation. The fish and chips... More

Slipway used to be a favorite. However our last visit was disappointing. The Caesar salad was excellent and the service was fine; however, things went downhill from there. The cocktails were miniscule. In the boulliabase there were no shrimp, only one scallop, two gritty steamers, one previously frozen Jonas crab, one tiny lobster claw, one small oyster, and a few...
