This is a wonderful place to go for any meal and we were so disappointed we couldn't have dinner there because they closed at three. That said breakfast is the best . Eggs fresh off the farm, best muffins and delicious coffee. Well priced also.

Since 2002, we have been to Maine on 4 vacations. We are from the Midwest. The Maine Diner is a must stop on each trip. Everything looks good but we have always ordered the Lobster Pie!!

I've been here several times and it is always great. My husband and I got there late morning for a seat immediately. These ladies know how to run this diner. They are quick fast service and excellent food as always. Just writing this review makes...More

After hearing so much about this place after being featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, we were disappointed. I had the Turkey and Stuffing dinner - it was actually a turkey roll - tasted OK but was more like a deli turkey. Sausage Stuffing lacked...More

Wow, I had the lobster Mac & Cheese a bowl of their clam chowder, my husband had seafood casserole and our daughter had the seafood stew. There is a waiting line, but well worth the wait.

We came after watching the sunrise at Nubble Lighthouse. There was no line which was great. When we finished eating, the wait was about 45 minutes. If you want Lobster Quiche, ask for it when you walk in the door. They remake through out the...More

I don't think that they use boxed eggs. I think that many restaurants cannot make good scrambled eggs, because they make them on the grill and scrambled eggs need to be made in a frying pan to turn out right.
