This is a good place to stop and take a food break! The food is good, the views of the river are and the folks that bring it all to you couldn't be nicer.

The $22 lobster roll had no flower and way too many rubbery claw ends. Dreadful. Same price as Red's but at Red's you get a really good lobster roll.

had a late lunch, the hometown charm of the restaurant is evident by local artwork on the walls with wonderful seating by the windows overlooking the river. the service was quick. MDP had a lobster roll and chowder, I had beef tips. It was good, a little pricey, not the best but not the worst. we both had dessert. homemade... More

What a gem on the mid-coast! Sarah's is a great place to stop for well cooked and affordable meals. We stop by on almost every trip and are never disappointed. We had the Boothbay Harbor Crabcake Cobb salad with 2 crabcakes and it was outstanding. Also had the Parmesan crusted oven-fried haddock - beautifully done! Normally I loth tarter sauce... More

We enjoy the casual atmosphere of Sarah's. Lunch and dinner specials are available and the soup and bread bar is delicious. Two or three home-made soups are available as well as several homemade breads. We enjoy the Whaleboats, huge and full of whatever choices one wants. The pizza is always delicious. And the home-made desserts are the best part of... More

Wife and Grandkids stopped by Sarah's for late lunch. (Youngest grand named Sarah - so we had to stop). Staff was friendly, food was good. I had lobster roll and fish chowder, wife had oven fried haddock and home fries, one grand had bacon cheese burger, and the other needed gluten free lunch. Waitress very helpful in directing her to... More

Best fish chowder I have ever eaten! Assorted homemade breads (warm) - Haddock Shepard's Pie and lobster rolls. Not much to look at but the food is worth the price and the wait. Good down home cooking, good portions, and nice friendly wait staff. Been twice plan to go again when in the area.

We often visit Sarah's but on the annual Snowbird return to Maine, it is a must. The fish chowder, the best ever, beckons us and we have never been disappointed. Gluten free beer is available along with a host of homemade desserts. Do not pass it up. Vegetarian fare is also offered and a big draw.

The food is prepared as if it was home cooking and is very fresh. Portions are large and staff very friendly. Well worth the value.

Went with my husband to have local seafood. i had a seafood trio, which was yummy, but could have been bigger. the salad dressing, raspberry vinagrette, was full of pureed berries, which were great.
