My wife and I like to visit Nubble Lighthouse shortly after they turn on the Christmas lights. We have stopped by the Lobster Cove a couple times as we do have happy memories from years past. This year we stopped by for dessert. We each had the wild blueberry pie a la mode with hot chocolate. It was as delicious... More

We went for breakfast because of a local hotel $7 food coupon. Great value and it was mobbed. Nice view of the ocean and Nubble lighthouse. Wait staff were terrific and very professional as they hustled around the dining room. Classic breakfast options, all were very good. Not many restaurants open in October in York. Although I didn't have the... More

my daughter and I dined here enjoying their delicious lobster pies. Service was excellent. The restaurant had the fireplace going which was nice and cozy on a brisk evening.

We ate here and were pleasantly surprised. It was one of the most delicious meals we have enjoyed in a long time. The clams strip appetizer was delicious. The clams were fresh and the batter was very clean. The martinis were spot on. Then I had the lobster pie and it was the best I've ever had. Usually it has... More

We went there for a small lunch. We both chose the Clam Chowder Bowl and shared a basket of Sweet Fried Potatoes with a dip. It was filling and very good. The Ocean View is a bonus. You can also sit on the second floor with an even better view.

Local friends took us to the Lobster Cove. What else can I say, the view was superb, the service was superb and the Maine lobster was superb! I had New England clam chowder followed by the 1 1/4 lb Maine lobster and my wife had onion soup and the lobster roll. We were both thoroughly satisfied with our meals as... More

Based on recommendations from locals over at the Nubble Lighthouse, we decided to give this place a try. The place overlooks the coast, but it was hard to see out of the foggy/grimy windows. I had the Lobster Bisque which tasted like mayo soup. I also had bacon wrapped scallions that were decent. Overall, I was underwhelmed with the food.... More

This restaurant is located at the end of Long Sands beach. Ask for a window seat and watch the waves come in. The menu is standard but the food is above par. Nice fresh seafood is tops on the menu. Servers are very friendly and helpful with area recommendations.

This is one of the few places open after season, so we were glad to find it. We had the Fried Mushrooms first and they were plentiful and large. I then had lobster bisque, which was good, but could have used some lobster pieces in it. The lobster pie was a good sized portion, with 5 entire lobster tails (not... More

York, Maine desperately needs more food options. As surfers ideally we want to eat where we surf. And in October most places are closed for the season - so I'm grateful this place is even open as the snow starts to fly as I'm sure the locals at the bar are as well. So I get it, it's harder to... Super sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience at Lobster Cove. We strive to make sure every guest is happy and most are! We are also happy to be here year round, with unhappy guests that would be tough. Our lobsters are delivered daily and I cant think of a reason that they would be anything but fresh.... More
