After a birthday in Ogunquit we stopped at a tavern in search of dinner and where a patron recommended the York Harbor Inn. Downstairs in the hold of a "ship" we had a nice seafood meal with good service. Not inexpensive but with a large dining selection, we will likely return by way of sailboat this next summer.

recently we spent a night at the inn meeting our friends for diner and a stay. We decided to eat in the 1637 room. Overall the experience was a positive one with good, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. All of the couple, 6 of us in all, enjoyed their meals. Nothing fancy, simple good food, The only complaint I... More

We have stayed at this inn many times, and have eaten at this restaurant many times as well. It's so wonderful to just be able to walk downstairs into this casually elegant room and have a great meal. There are tables all along the windows that face the ocean, so be sure to come before dark to enjoy the view.... More

We walked over from the Stage Neck Inn. Both places are amazing! We had eaten at 1637 several years ago and had a wonderful experience. This one was amazing as well. We got there at 5:30 to get the early bird special for $19.95. This is a great deal! I had crab cakes and the wife had baked fish over... More

We ate here on the recommendation of a shopkeeper in Kittery. We ate in the tavern downstairs. It is designed to look like the hull of a ship. We sat at a counter like table with a view of the ocean. I had the lobster salad with avocados and a creamy dill dressing. My husband had a turkey club sandwich.... More

Lovely dining room overlooking the ocean. It was a special place to have dinner or even a great haddock sandwich. Loved the intimate setting. Wish there had been a fire in the fireplace.

We ate here twice in one weekend -- once was not enough. We stopped on our way up further north and again on our way back. The food here is delicious. Prepared just perfectly. I love the Seafood Chowder. My son loves the Sirloin Burgers. My wife just loves the atmosphere. This is a really cozy place to eat, like... More

We ordered Flatbread breads and burgers. They have a decent beer selection. They food was all very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite unique. The bar area can get a little tight, but there is a sitting area that is near a fireplace. This area has a bit more room. The bartenders were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately,... More
