On our way from NY TO FL, planned on stopping in Bowie just for Rips. I knew the ribs were gonna be amazing but tonight I tried to see if I could pull out every bone clean before eating the rib meat "patty". Couldn't have been easier. I should have taken a pic to post it. Chris is awesome too.... More

Went with my daughter for dinner at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Got the fried shrimp and she got the pork chop. The fried shrimp look like it came from Popeyes the pork chop was overdone. We saw our waitress once after placing the order and that was after we had already finished the meal. No refills on the drinks... More

I ordered Rip's Hearty Chef salad because I thought it was safe. Can't mess up a salad right? Wrong. The toppings were fine but the lettuce in the salad was limp and very wet. The other order was the Jumbo Shrimp. Well they weren't very jumbo and were flavorless. Ordered an iceberg salad instead of coleslaw and a mixed greens... More

This place has a good reputation and is well known in the area. I have eaten there just once on a quiet Tuesday night. I would suggest it was ok, nothing spectacular. I guess I was expecting more?

This place has everything you could possibly want in the adult beverage world, and the service was top shelf didn't have to wait long to be served by one of the most polite men I have ever encountered. Enjoy your drinks.

I went to lunch with friends after church and ordered the seafood platter and it was absolutely horrible. The crab cake was terrible. The fish and onion rings were just completely flavorless. They gave us cold corn bread with cold butter - you could not enjoy the corn bread. The prices are not commensurate with the atmosphere. The prices are... More

Excellent selection of wines and assorted liquids. And to top it off, Rips also has a very good restaurant attached to the liquor store if you like down home cooking.

The food was awful the service was slow. The decor is outdated. The wait was way too long and the tables to close together

We had great food and service, we normally do when we go for dinner. I am not a breakfast person, so I have never tried it. Love their fried chicken and beets
