Ate of us dined. The service was excellent. Nothing really stood out as exceptional. Each plate had an abundant amount of food. One person commented that her chicken was a little dry and the same was true for another member of our group. For the price, I would return.

This is a secret off the beaten path restaurant that is worth the trip. Definitely a place the locals know about! Mexican and Salvadorian food that is worth the price which fortunately is modest. This is a small intimate restaurant. If you are looking for style points don't bother. If good food and service at reasonable price is your quest... More

Acajutla offers both Mexican and Salvadorian cuisine. Since I'm not too familiar with Salvadorian dishes, I tried their Mexican and was not disappointed. Chimichanga, burrito and fajita we ate were very good. Service was just OK, though. Our drinks never got refilled (in fairness, we didn't ask for them, but it was obvious our glasses were empty). Serving portion was... More

I have been going to Acajutla for many years and I am never disappointed. The food is always freshly cooked and they have a good variety of Mexican and El Salvadorian dishes. In particular their pupusas are some of the best I have ever eaten. I am also a big fan of their chimichangas ! Our service has alway been... More

The food and the service was great. the only reason that i would not give them a 5 star is not due to the food or service. The tables were so closed to each-other that you could be involve in every conversation.

We stopped at this small family run business located in a strip mall for a quick lunch a few years ago and now make a point to visit each time we're in the area. Good food, quick service, and friendly owners. Best guacamole I've ever had! Great value for your money too!

My wife and I came here after just moving to the area. A new neighbor said he had been here before and it was nice. We found the food very good, and the margaritas refreshing. For the location it is reasonably priced. We will be making this a regular visit for the authentic Mexican and Salvadoran food.

We eat at Acajutla about 2 times per month. It is near by, food is great, and the margaritas quite good. We usually stick to fish and shrimp which are always fresh and delicious.

Where I live there are many Mexican/Salvadorean places to eat. Acajutla is okay, but nothing special. It's decently priced and the food is not too bad. My Mexican-Colombian sister--law prefers the pupusa's over other places.

Pescado Acajutla is my favorite; Aroz con Pollo is the consistent choice for my son and daughters. This is another consistently good inexpensive restaurant that is thankfully very close to home, so if no one wants to cook...Acajutla! If son is home from college - Acajutla! The shopping center looks pretty unimpressive but this is a pearl for Salvadoran -... More
