My friend had the French Toast and I had the Bagel and Lox with cheese grits on the side. After trying her french toast I decided they were the best I've ever tasted. The Bagel and Lox could have used another slice of tomato, a little more cream cheese and just a pinch more lettuce--but it was otherwise delicious. They... More

I used to be a big fan of Busboys when the management was different. Timothy Relph brought a certain cool, relaxed vibe to the restaurant. It's still nice, but it's no longer my hang out spot of choice. It's still a good place to grab a meal and they have something for everyone in a group: from vegan and vegetarian,... More

Franklin's has a very good menu. The food is delicious and the prices reasonable. The standard salads are a little boring, but overall the quality of the food is very high.

We had great lamb sliders, soup, shrimp and grits, etc. Took advantage of happy hour and enjoyed house wines. So, food was deelish, but it was the waitress who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied, that put the icing on the cake. Some free parking on side of building across the street.

The catfish with collard greens and corn cake is delicious. I had gotten the same meal at the DC location and the flavors were consistent. The service was very good considering the size of the group.

We had our daughter's graduation luncheon from UM here on Wednesday December 21st. My wife had tried to call for a reservation four days leading up to this event and she was told that they don't take reservations, only call ahead seating. We tried to explain that the University of MD was having their graduation for various departments on this... More

One of the local brunch places my wife and I like to frequent on weekends. Pretty neat bookstore within the restaurant.

We hit the after church crowd and had to wait about 30 + minutes for a table. The salads and breakfast food was good. Server was friendly.

My second time to this location with identical results. I love the atmosphere at the place. Its a big room but with high ceilings so even when crowded the noise level is ok. The real problem is the service which is reliably terrible. The servers are all young, inexperienced and have attitude. Went in with a colleague for a weekday... More

A great place for any time of day or meal. Consistent quality and service and great food. You can dine outside or in. Varied menu with healthy and international offerings. I can recommend anything on the menu but particularly like the salads. They also have a good beer and wine selection and make a nice cocktail. A welcome addition to... More
