Sorry to say this place is permanently closed for business. Husband and I went there on our first date. It was a small unattractive spot but the food was really good.

Drove to this long time neighborhood restaurant the end of May and it was closed. No signs posted and everything was closed up tight. It has been like this a couple of weeks now. We will miss the fine people who worked there as well as the homey food.
When we want a no hassle relaxed evening with good food, we head to the Italian inn. This restaurant has been a neighborhood fixture for years. Excellent and inexpensive pizzas. We always order a medium and take half home for the next day. The crab cakes are surprisingly good and the lasagna is excellent. Very family friendly.
Been eating at the Italian Inn since it's days as "Peter Connel's" Italian Inn in the 1960's. It was fine dining then. Still a good reliable place for meatballs and spaghetti, chicken parmigiano and pizzas. Take out or eat in...it's all good.

When you arrive at restaurant it does remind you of an old back street eatery in Boston...I was born in the North Shore of B-town , this place really does have that feel. The restaurant was recommended by District Mgr. at a nearby Holiday Inn Express. My husband had Tortellini Soup and Veal, I had Chicken Parmesan Alfredo, pretty good!... More
Not crowded. Service was extremely cordial and prompt. Enjoyed the food which was tasty and adequate for a reasonable price.
