Another flea market, antique store. If you're in downtown Oakland, sure, but don't come just for this place.

The establishment inside England'ers that serves food is called "Dottie's Grill and Soda Fountain". They have the best tasting bacon and I asked what brand it was and was informed "Kunzler". Guess what bacon brand I'm buying for home now? Yep, you got it! I...More

An old fashioned counter, booths and tables in the rear of Englanders makes up this eating gem. The milk shakes are the best. Thick and creams- large enough to share. It is an experience.

Visited on a recommendation. This building used to be a drug store with counter service. Now it is an antique store with counter service and some booths and tables. The menu looked interesting, so I ordered Buckwheat pancakes and sausage. My grandson ordered a hotdog...More
