Surprised upon entering this little restaurant to find a lovely interior and cozy atmosphere. Food here was standard middle eastern fare with kabobs and rice which were done deliciously and authentically. Enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere and will certainly be returning in the near future.

The lamb kabobs were very good. I would pay extra and go for the sour cherry rice. Disappointed that the lamb shank was not available. They should provide something else with pita bread appetizer other than onion and butter (not to everybody's taste). It is a very nice space and the wonderful smell from the adjoining market welcomes you as... More

Lovely decor, quick service and delicious food. I am not partial to trying exotic food, but I am so glad I did with this restaurant. We had a few appetizers and the kebobs (chicken and beef) as well as lamb chops. Everything was exceptional. Just the right amount of food (although we still did not finish). Lovely atmosphere and decor.

No big bargain price wise, this place tries hard to deliver great food . The kabobs aren't as spicy as the Pakistani version I like . The stuffed vine leaves , called Dolmades, were made without rinsing off the brine and I hated them . My mother made delicious ones , using a Turkish recipe that included removing the brine... More

Stopped spontaneously Christmas day. Happy surprise! Scrumptious, healthy, plentiful food. Vegan and veggie options. Fantastic Angus beef kabobs grilled perfectly with peppers and onions. Chicken and lamb too. Lovely basmati rice. Pretty painted dome interior. Courteous professionals. Wednesday nights half price wine with dinner.

So...we went to Yekta Kabobi with some friends who had recently discovered it. We entered through the market and was wowed by the assortment and display of the foods. We went into the restaurant which is nicely layed out and decorated. The waiter was terrific and helpful, recommending interesting choices depending on our categoric desires. The food came quickly to... More

My cousin recommended this restaurant and it far surpassed my expectations. I had the marinated slices of certified angus beef with a roasted tomato. The dish came with basmati rice with almonds, pistachios and orange peel.

Went on a Thursday evening when it was 1/2 price wine night. Really a bargain. The food was great as always.... we all had different dishes including chicken and beef koobideh, lamb. The different rices, especially the sour cherry, are outstanding. The only disappointment is the desserts....but go to their market next door and get genuine Halivah by the pound

We come here for quality kabobs--lamb and steak--at reasonable prices. And we're never disappointed. The eggplant dish with tomato sauce is a great way to start the meal. Wines by the glass are reasonably priced, as well. If we want something sweet, we go next door to their market for something homemade and delicious.

Yekta Kabobi Restaurant is truly a great find especially in an area where Persian cuisine is amiss, unfortunately so. What this place offers are delicious dishes produced by a skillful kitchen with their perfectly calibrated seasoning and authentic offerings, from the intriguing and savory eggplant and olive spreads, to the mildly yet tender lamb shank special, to the perfectly seasoned...
