Enjoyed family meal during the Holidays. Restaurant was decorated very nicely without being overbroad. Service from Ashley was spot-on! All our food was prepared and plated with taste and care. Filet was ordered medium and was fantastic. Crab cakes were also a big hit. Can't wait to go back.

My wife and I joined another couple who wanted to try Baldwins. My wife and I have lived in Sykesville a long time and have eaten here about 8 times. I can only remember 1 really good dinner and that was many years ago. Here we are for a 5 pm dinner on a Wednesday night and the place had... More

Annie was so attentive and patient. We were a party of 8 and all the staff, including the owner, checked in on us multiple times. Our food was flavored perfectly. We had the calamari and pork belly apps and both were delicious to the last bite. At one point our little one, who normally is a rock star, asked to... More

Wonderful quaint, historic location. Good food. No TV's to ruin the ambiance and atmosphere. A real classy restaurant.

A historic location in the quaint little town of Sykesville, MD. An old train station, you can still be delighted (or deafened) by trains that still roll right by. A charming small bar as you enter the building and a nice dining room that is adjoined by a beautiful patio dining area that has the ability to be closed up... More

If you are looking for a place with lots of charm and unique character as well as excellent food, check out the restored train station called Baldwin station. The food is a little pricy but well worth it. You definitely get what you paid for. Great place to celebrate special occasions like a birthday, or like in our case, a... More

We've been here several times. Nice food, atmosphere and service. A bit on the pricey side; but, we felt it was worth it.

Went here for a birthday lunch treat. Good and ample food in a very quaint, well restored, railroad station environment. Service was first class. The passing of a freight train was an added bonus.

So we headed over to Sykesville specifically to go to this old train depot restaurant and were greeted with a sign on the door explaining they were closed for a private event. Had looked at their website prior to driving over there, and didn't see that listed, but maybe I just missed it. We were bummed- not end of the... More
