Reasonably priced high quality food. A few gluten-free options and the waitress said if you give them 24 hour notice, most of their offerings can be made gluten-free. It was fairly quiet for a pub, no loud music, and it seemed family-friendly for kids. too.

Food was really good, I had a cheeseburger and hubby had a turkey dinner. I enjoy the place and the service. As others have said it is a bit noisy but we expected that after reading other reviews. Will go back if in the area.

They always offer discount coupons in the local coupons magazines. Take advantage of them because this is a very nice place. The sandwich menu is extensive. I'm partial to their crab cake sliders. They have a good selection of local brews as well. Service is always very personable.

Good craft selection, good bar food. Split a sandwich or have a full dinner. We have never been disappointed at Beck's.

We both had crab cake sliders on this our first visit to E.W. Beck's. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The selection was quite large, and we asked for suggestions. Our server told us the crab cakes had little filler and were always good. She was right: They were very good. We like pubs, and E.W. Beck's had a nice... More

Nice place. Bookmaker salad is really good. Lots of regulars and locals. A bit noisy and somewhat cramped.

We hadn't been to Becks in a while and they didn't disappoint. I had the cream of crab soup and wrap my husband has some spicy alfredo dish. We both loved our meals! Can be a wait depending on what time you go but the bar is w good place to hang while ure waiting!

At some point during the last year or so, Becks decided to make their menu more upscale. I suspect to compete more with Baldwin's Station across the street. That's fine I Guess, but some of us went to Beck's because we didn't want Baldwins. A LOT of the awesome things they had on their menu went away and were replaced... More

This is a great local bar and restaurant smack dab in the middle of Sykesville - a quaint little town in northern Howard County, MD. A lot of the food is locally sourced and is delicious with unusual combinations on the menu. The craft beer selection is good and the staff is friendly. The only thing I would suggest is... More
