Chillingsworth is like eating in the home of a good friend ---a good friend who is a very good cook. Generally, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. About the food: the appetizers were great. My husband is still raving about the warm...More

Been told this was an excellent restaurant but it appears time has passed it by. Nothing was terrible but there are many better places on the Cape, as compared to when this restaurant started. The decor is dated. Most of the food was solid if...More

We live in Brewster and had not been to the Bistro in a few years. We will not return. The service was very slow and the salad and entree were served next to each other. The Caesar salad was nothing but lettuce with a mediocre...More

This is our 'treat' place when we're on the Cape. We dig out our decent clothes and eschew the shorts for a night. I've even been known to put on lipstick. We went in August on a Saturday night. As it's not on Open Table...More

As first time visitors to Cape Cod, we were looking for an authentic Cape Cod experience. We found it at the Chillingsworth. It felt like home. Great staff, great food. We also stayed there for two nights. If you want to know what pre-revolutionary war...More

We went to Chilliingsworth looking forward to an evening of fine dining. We were comfortably seated and our waitress eventually took our drink order as she brought us menus. By We asthe way, we were in the Bistro. Our drinks finally came and they were...More

Very expensive what what is was. My cod was very undercooked and had to go back to the kitchen. Same for a steak and a salmon order. The kitchen was sloppy in this way. One place setting had a dirty napkin. Food was tasty, but...More

Over the past twenty years, my husband and I have dined here more than two dozen times. It had a special occasion atmosphere with food and service to match. In recent years, we started to comment on the diminishing curb appeal and the lack of...More

Very casual in the bar and bistro. A little bit more formal in the fine dining area but Cape Cod formal tends to be less formal.
