The Bistro was recommended to us by locals. The service was fine but our meals were lackluster. Droopy salads. Probably the prix fixe dinner is the way to go here.

We wanted a light meal so opted to eat at the bar. It was a perfectly good idea. Our server, Jules A was wonderful. She has a great personality and is very attentive to the needs of those served. My wife enjoyed her mussels diablo. I got the fish and chips and was not disappointed. My after dinner courvoisier vs... More

Now called Main Street Bistro and moved downstairs and in the back still just off Main Street. Terrific dinner, we had fish, chicken and ravioli. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and the Clams Balboa were a big hit for our appetizer! Nice spot in Chatham for dinner.

It was a late night dinner but the place was still busy. It took a little while to get seated. The staff seemed confused about where to seat people and who was going to serve each table. Our waiter also seemed a little off. Not terrible or anything but just not quite up to snuff. The food was pretty good.... More

As a loyal customer of the original Vinings Bistro for 20 years, (when it was above Carmines), I was hopeful that not too much would change when it moved to it's new location across the parking lot. Well, I was sadly disappointed. Most of my favorite dishes are no longer on the menu, and the atmosphere is a mere shadow... More

We were disappointed by this bistro. I add salt to many of my dishes. However, the linguine and clams was almost inedible. Way too salty. The salads, mussels, crab cakes were very good. We will not return to this restaurant.

It's not called Vining's Bistro anymore, it's now the Bistro on Main St. and the food is outstanding. We had reservation and there were still a few tables available, but the place was filling up fast as we left. They also have an outdoor patio which is beautiful. The have a lot of seafood on the menu, naturally, but also... More

We sat at the bar and ordered great littlenecks, salads and apps. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Would definitely go back!

We pretty much picked this place at random. It is a plain looking place with a raw oyster bar. The menu is varied with a number of daily specials. I had the ciopino which was very good. The service is efficient and friendly. The background music was fantastic, old hippie protest songs from the sixties and seventies. Overall, an enjoyable... More

This was a nice meal. The sword fish was prepared just as a ask. It melted in my mouth. The portions are a nice size and the favors where right on. The server was on top of it with great suggestions and a very pleasant personality.
