Went for the first time in a while. Excellent dinner. I had a special - curry cod that was outstanding. My wife had the southern chicken - also very good. Good beer on tap and decent wines available. Friendly bar tenders and staff

Although we have been coming to the cape for many years, this was our first visit to the Local Break. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was great. We had dinner at a table not too far from the bar. Delicious entrees and appetizers. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of parking. We will definitely be back next summer.

We have been there five times in the past four months. This is not an elegant dining experience but a fine addition to casual dining. There is a large bar, a few tv sets and booths, hi-tops and regula tables. The service if prompt and friendly. There are always inventive specials and the regular menu shows a wide variety of... In early December we were looking for a casual place to have a decent dinner. Local Break filled the bill and more. It's a welcome place on a cold, cloudy night. I had the house burger, which I highly recommend. They also have some decent beers. This is not a really "cheap" place to eat, but prices are quite reasonable... More

Fantastic food in an informal atmosphere. One can tell that the owner and all who work within are aiming to please. The bartender is personable and the chef came out to take a bow. Try it and you'll like it.

We went twice since it was so good the first night and much is closed on the Cape this time of year; the vindallo rubbed salmon with risotto and bacon wrapped asparagus and curry carrot puree was masterful. Night two, the southern chicken, bacon mashed potatoes, cranberry, walnut goat cheese and Brussels sprouts were the best prepared Brussels sprout I... More

Went for dinner and it was like going to Chuckie Cheese. Kids yelling, running around, and parents enjoying a night out. When I suggested it was crazy to the gentleman at the door his reply was "this is a family restaurant", I have gone to family restaurants all my life and never experienced such pandemonium. If I am spending $15.00... More

Great service and a great menu. I ate there twice and everyone was pleased. Bit of a wait to get a table (it's not a huge place) but worth it.
