Alice's is the epitome of the American version of the local neighborhood breakfast diner. Even more in its favor is the fact that they offer a sizeable gluten-free menu, including "malassadas" (forgive if I mis-spelled), a fried dough specialty beloved by the local Portuguese community, adopted by the rest of the non-Portuguese community, and never seen anywhere in gluten-free form... This place has an entire gluten free menu!! I was shocked to find I could order pancakes and any other regular diner breakfast food and it was actually gluten free. My non gluten free husband also enjoyed his meal and we found the server to be outstanding!!

We had to pick up some meds in Rhode Island, and afterwards we were hungfy, so we crossed the state line and found d Aluce's Diner. It's a plain & basic hole in the wall, but our waitress was fine, and the omelets we ordered (a vegetarian for my wife, a calouca -- Portuguese-style pork -- for me) were both... More

Breakfast is always great. Blueberry pancakes are on point. Coffee was good. Omlets are very filling. Everything priced right.

Want to eat a special Gluten Free treat such as: Mallassadas, Cheese Rolls, Sticky Buns, Waffles, Pancakes, Portuguese Sweet Bread, Pizza, Cupcakes, Brownies, etc..etc.. Their selection is endless and more importantly Delicious. Please try it..for GF... More

Food was great, service amazing. My husband wanted to see one of the World Cup games they put it on for him. Made him feel right at home.

I walked into Alice's Diner and saw a typical neighborhood diner. The typical customers went looking for a good, greasy, meal. When I sat down I saw that they had a huge gluten free menu. Everything from English muffins to pancakes, muffins to bacon were hosted on this beautiful menu. Finally, I found a place that serves some decent gluten... More

We found this place just by driving around town. On our first trip we had good grilled chicken sandwiches and fries. The price was good and the food quality is what we expected. I returned a few days later for breakfast and surprisingly was a bit disappointed. The portion of ham (looked like a slice of round lunch meat) and... More
