great location - bit of a walk ( 30 min ) but I would rather walk than sit in traffic . Nice lot with the ability to tailgate etc. but the owner guy who directs you to park has got to CHILL OUT - what a major dick . Almost make me want to not park here . Everyone else... More

This was our first time going to this restaurant and last. We were 4 adults celebrating my husband's birthday and we had reservations for 7 o'clock this past Saturday the 19th and they sat us right away which was nice. The server Allie was great and this review has nothing to do with her. The men ordered Martinis (2 different... More

We couldn't have asked for a better rehearsal dinner, the buffet was perfect, we had prime rib, baked stuffed shrimp, and chicken with broccoli and Alfredo sauce. Everything was perfect and the service couldn't have been better. Thank you Ron for making our night exceptional.

Charlene was a fantastic and attentive waitress. She volunteered interesting historical tidbits. I was in the room with the "well"; it was nicely decorated, clean linens and comfortable side chairs. The food came out at appropriate times. I initially thought it was expensive for the chicken and pasta, but they were huge servings, 2 meals on one plate. The desert... More

The food and service was really good. Plenty of parking. It could use some updating. There was a lot of lace, fake flowers, and floral print everywhere. It does have a lot of history and charm.

I have been here before not that great but will never return the staff was so rude and they let every body here that they where busy they had maybe 30 people in the bar and 10 people in the dinning room for a place that can hold over 200 people I don't think it was busy

Food is way out of date and just no top quality in a long time despite som highish prices. Bagged veggies were stone cold.

The Lafayette House restaurant is housed in an antique building, much of which dates back to the 1700's, including low ceilings and plank floors. Definitely worth a view, but the décor is getting rather old. The food was really very good. All meals came with salads and warm, fresh bread. I enjoyed the Beef Short ribs. The portion was huge,... Very good food, but on the pricier side. I prefer to sit on the bar side, it's more laid back than the restaurant. They have a cute area for outside dining.
