The menu was unique. The service excellent and the food delicious. The hot popovers were a nice touch.

If Ralph Loren designed a bar and lounge, THIS is what it would look like. The housemade cocktails, esp. The Pole Runner, are yummy, but be warned...they are strong. This is by far the best bar for lovely surroundings both inside and outside on Cape Ann. Also offers a great bar food menu, as well. We have only gone to... More

Tourists seem to flock to the waterfront for dining. But they miss out on excellent seafood dishes if they bypass Passports on Main Street. The food is consistently delicious, nicely presented and plenty of vegetarian options for the renegade in your group. They start you off with piping hot popovers - always excellent. Take it from a local, don't miss... More

Arriving for an early dinner on a Sunday we scored a sunny window table overlooking Main Street. Complimentary hot popovers were a surprising touch and made for a great beginning to the evening. The wine and beer selection is somewhat limited, but what we ordered was excellent and, unlike most restaurants, Passports pours a very generous glass of wine. Everyone... More

The food is very good here for lunch or dinner. In winter do not sit by the door...BRRR but the food makes up for it. The Chicken sandwich was awesome

Always have enjoyed food service and ambiance. Recently had lunch with friends, very busy and music was so loud we could not have a conversation. A member of the wait staff, not ours, was asked to maybe turn down music, which he did, but he made a few remarks about our request which we felt were uncalled for and rude.... More

This timeless standby in Gloucester always delivers great good, a lively environment, consistent good service, great selection of wine and beers and yummy food! Always enjoy the popovers instead of bread.

Soooo happy to have crusty, egg-ey popovers alongside their carrot-ginger soup. Delicious lunch, and lovely gals who are attentive and friendly. The chef is creative with appetizing plates that don't disappoint. My husband had the Rachel pastrami sandwich and he declared it a winner. We'll be back......maybe even tomorrow!!

I ordered the lobster roll and my son got the haddock sandwich. The lobster had avocado, lettuce and tomato. The haddock sandwich is Cajun seasoned. Both were delicious. The restaurant is cozy and warm. You will love it.

Right on Main Street Gloucester, sits this friendly little restaurant perfect for shoppers, business people and anyone who wants a delicious lunch or dinner for a reasonable price. One of the great perks is that they greet you with a piping hot popover when you sit down. Salads and entrees are creative, delicious and nicely presented. There is a small... More
