It had to have been one of the worst meals I've had in my lifetime next to Max Brenner's in Boston. I just had a basic $15 hamburger, and you think it would be something marvelous at that price point. Patty was small, lettuce was non-existent and old (and I like lettuce). NO TOMATO. They forgot to give us any... More

I loved the restaurants that previously occupied this space, but not this one. They modernized the old tavern atmosphere, and turned this place into just another gastropub. Maybe if I were younger and richer I might like it, but there are too many better restaurants in Lexington.

My husband & I went here last night for dinner, so we thought. When we approached the hostess and asked for a table for 2, we were curtly told that there weren't any seats available....unless we could find 'something' at the bar. I looked up to see that the entire 2nd floor was dark and so I inquired if it... More

I believe they were understaffed the night we were there as the service seemed a bit disorganized and the timing was a bit off as far as food delivery, getting to drink orders, etc.. The server was nice, but he just had alot of tables for 1 person. My husband and both had the seafood chowder which was excellent. My... More

It was the most miserable experience ever...The only bright spot was the waitress who was taking care of all customers. This restaurant should close as they have ni idea what they are doing.....

We met some friends there recently for an early dinner. We sat at a 4-person bar table, which was nice. The waiter was very nice and attentive. Interestingly, we all ordered the burgers. They were very good and the fries were excellent. Parking is on the street, and some public parking behind some of the Town buildings. Although we all... More

Great experience at this tavern for lunch. Salmon burger was massive and tasty with THE best fries. Great vegetarian option of brown rice bowl! Attentive service and a generous pot of coffee. Enjoyed background music too.

Visited for dinner before attending a comedy show. Food was (just) ok but service was unbelievably slow. Woefully understaffed for a Saturday night.

Had dinner at the Vine Brook recently and let's just say when I give my cat a treat of tuna its about the same size that I got with my entree. Taste was actually good but at $30 very overpriced for what I got. Definitely concur that the service was poor - very slow. Really wish I had checked TA... More

We were here to celebrate a birthday and had a 6 PM reservation. When we arrived, the first floor where the bar was was so noisy you couldn't hear. I asked the hostess to seat us upstairs, which is the "real" dining room, and was told it was not "open." We refused the table she originally seated us at, and... More
