I've had lunch at Acorns almost 100 times (or it feels that way). I get the soup and half sandwich and I think I'm addicted to Stacy's bread. The place is something special. It's like that Seinfeld episode ... you wonder what's really in this stuff that everyone just keeps coming back. And it's all made, every day, by Stacy... More

Their sandwiches , pastries and pain au chocolat are great. But I find the people behind the counter unsmiling and not too welcoming. I love their chocolate croissants and they usually t run out of them fast. Once I said oh why don't you make more of them. And instead of taking it as a compliment the lady said with a... More

Though I've never had any of the lunch selections at Acorns, I can attest that their baked goods are excellent. I often stop by for a special treat for myself, and on many occasions have ordered a mini-pastry platter from Acorns for family gatherings. And the scones are by far the best anywhere, with a delicate texture but also delightfully... More

This was our first visit to Acorns. I had a roasted chicken sandwich with avocado on homemade whole wheat bread. The bread was very special. My husband had the chicken noodle soup and a turkey sandwich on the same bread. He thought both were very tasty. We finished our meal with a delicious key lime . There were several vegetarian... You can't go wrong,at this bakery--every item is made to perfection! Hands down the best bakery in all of Wellesley, Dover, Needham, Norwood and Dedham. The food is simply superb, the atmosphere cozy, with a few small tables, and nostalgic decor. Favorites: Croissants and downtowners.

We went here just a few minutes before they closed at 2 pm on a Saturday. They were not bending over backwards to serve us, but still did. I had a chicken salad sandwich and what was remarkable was not the filling but the bread. It was home made and fantastic, thick but light, flavored, but not overly. This place... More

After moving to the west coast 2 years ago, we had to go to Acorns Bakery for their croissants the first day back in Needham. They are still the best! Thank you Stacy and Bill.

Have been going here for years. Delicious croissants and French baguettes, just like I enjoyed in Paris. Tarragon chicken salad on a salad or baguette is fantastic.

We have traveled all over France and these are the best croissants anywhere. I am somewhat addicted to the chocolate ones! We often entertain by having brunches and order quiches and their fabulous tomato tart along with their croissants. Guests rave about the food. It is an easy yummy way to entertain.

Paying for food while receiving incredibly rude service is not what I aim for in a dining experience, and yet that is what I experienced here, and more than once. At first, I thought they were just having a bad day, but after a few times there, and each time the same rudeness displayed toward me and my friends, I... More
