We come to visit every year or so and seem to go to the same haunts in the area. Today we opted to try the Lobster Hut and as a family we were all happy. From the kids chicken fingers (chicken fingers are chicken fingers) to the corn chowder to our huge fried fish platter that we couldn't finish. Its... More

We were delighted with our visit to the Lobster Hut. The service was excellent - and when we called again around four days later - we were remembered. Very welcoming. On our first visit we ate Clam Chowder - our first experience of this!! It was great!! Also ate swordfish and lobster as our main meals . Excellent and flavoursome.... More

This was our lunch stop with Mayflower Tours and the folks here really delivered! There were 51 of us to serve and I’ve never seen such super-fast service in my life! From the time we all walked in to place our orders (there were 4 cashiers to take our orders) to the time the last member of our group collected... More

If you're a seafood lover you'll have a hard time picking just one item from the menu! Whether you like it fried, steamed, or grilled you've got options here! They have an awesome deck that faces the marina/ocean out back that would be great in the summer time! We had the lobster mac n' cheese, steamers, lobster roll, and a... More

This establishment is situated on the harbour front and boasts great views of the ocean. There is the opportunity to eat either inside or outside and there is plenty of parking at the front of the building. I'd imagine due to the location and menu that this place gets really busy in the middle of the summer. It's not fine... More

Though not much in the way of ambience (except it is truly an old-fashioned, counter-order fish joint), Lobster Hut is a great place for great seafood. Full disclosure: I didn't get the lobster. I love lobster, but this wasn't the visit. I decided on the haddock. Boy, at I glad I decided on the haddock! Freshly prepared (it took probably... More

We got into Plymouth late and couldn't make it to Wood's (don't miss Wood's), so we tried the Lobster Hut. It was Sunday night and they had a big "bar crowd" which made the dining experience loud. So, we asked to be seated in the most quiet place. They put us in the back bar area (huge room) but it... More

Greetings, We are sorry that your experience was not pleasant but you might have mistaken us with other restaurants. We are a self-service seafood restaurant located right on Plymouth harbor and do not have a bar or televisions. If you happen to be in town, we would be more than happy to have you here. I hope your next visit... More

This place is on a par with Skipper's or Long John Silver's but charges more. Service is quick and pleasant, but the food falls short. The stuffed quahog may have actually had some quahog in there with the breadcrumbs, but not enough to taste. The fries with the fish and chips were totally lame. The chowder was good, but not... don't usually eat fried food. but this was just great. Fried, but not greasy. all fabulously fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. As we were eating late, they were starting to clean the areas where people were not eating. They are THOROUGH! Looking at how they cleaned the other areas, I was confident that where I ate and what I... More
