I want to support this place, but food prep is. unbelievably slow for a fast food shack. If you have time to wait, this is pretty good quality and value for smack dab in the middle of a tourist town. Breakfast is great, and so are the sweet potato fries! I'd give the Red Shack 4 stars if it weren't... More

Very quaint spot near the docks with good food and local flavor. Big lobster rolls and people who've been working there for years. Very nice local spot. Not too pricey. Good walking food!

Best lobster roll I have ever had. And not a lot of $. With butter and a little lettuce it is something that you will remember the entire day. Full 1/4 pound of grade A lobster spread out over the bun so that there is an ample amount in EVERY bite. Am considering moving to Provincetown just to be able... More

If you are looking for a great bite on your way, order here and sit down on the benches under the trees in front of the pier to have your lobster roll and fries right from the basket. Didn't find any better lobster roll in town.

Three of us went to the Red Shack this afternoon, solely based on the reviews posted here. Two of us had the Original Lobster roll, big chunks of lobster resting on a bed of lettuce and tomato, all in a toasted bun similar to what we call in Boston a spucky roll. (sort of a small sub roll). It was... More

PTown has many fine restaurants but I'll take TRS over all of them. The staff at window are courteous and attentive. Having your lunch down at the Pier while the artists paint is a true local experience.

After we had come off the Whale Watching adventure, we were very hungry, and in particular, I wanted a lobster roll. Being from the southwest, lobster isn't the most common thing to eat. I think this big and delicious lobster roll was the best thing I ate on my whole vacation to Cape Cod. Lots of big pieces of lobster... More

I can't say enough how much I love The Red Shack. Large chunks of lobster in every bite! My absolute favorites are the unique and amazing Lobster Egg Benedict roll for breakfast and then the Connecticut for any other time of day. The breakfast roll is seriously beyond delicious. The Portuguese roll that The Red Shack serves is part of... More

So, so good! The people are wonderful, and the service is great. The fries are so amazing, they sprinkle a little seasoning on them and they are truly to die for.

While strolling Ptown we had to try The Red shack. The young lady working the window was a sweetheart and the lobster rolls were delicious! I had the original and my son had the mexican. Both chocked full of meat on a perfectly sized bun. I do not think it was just a hot dog bun. It was bigger than... More
