The Mayflower Café is located in the center of downtown Provincetown, so it is a very convenient stop for lunch. It is basically a diner - long established and popular. The variety of selections for lunch is good - including traditional Cape offerings - chowder,...More
This cafe appears to be popular with the tour buses. We were seated quickly. We ordered the fish sandwich special and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was good, simply prepared with a little mayonnaise. The fish sandwich came with clam chowder which was just...More
Now if you are looking for a fancy restaurant don't stop here. We had lunch here before taking the Dune's tour. The whole lobster was yummy. I can't vouch for the other items on the menu. The day we were there the cost was $19.99...More
Nice good value, no nonsense restaurant in Provincetown. Service was friendly and efficient, and great place if you want a good value meal (by Provincetown standards) in an unpretentious setting. I recommend the Portuguese style fish and chips, or one of the pasta dishes. Enjoy!
The food here is not exceptional, but it is certainly above average. The staff are helpful and the pricing is very competitive, especially compared to similar establishments along Commercial Street. Would certainly eat here again.

Fried oysters plump, lightly breaded, just barely fried. About a dozen in order for $23!!!! REAL Cole slaw, light dressing. Oyster Tacos same quality. Two tacos with 3 oysters each $13. My new "go to" place since Clem & Ursie's closed a few years back.
