A charming picturesque street. We stopped for something light and probably should have kept walking. Food was anything but exciting, service was nothing exceptional. This touristy area has other more interesting dining, we made a mistake.

I recently ate at The Mayflower in Provincetown, MA. Our waiter, Martin, truly made our visit awesome. He recommended several dishes and gave us additional information about places to explore and visit while in Cape Cod. I had fish tacos, which I normally don't eat. The portion was so generous that I felt full after just one taco. The sauce... More

We were there the day before it closed for the season so some menu items were not available. Prices were relatively good. The food was fresh and fine. The place was bustling so the waitstaff was pretty busy but the service could have been quicker, it took a long time of waiting with empty dishes and water glasses for the... More

This little gem is nestling neatly between various charming Ptown shops and holds its own with its neighbours. Despite looking like it was shut during the middle of the afternoon, we ordered in no particular order, Lobster, Fish Sandwich and Sea Food Chowder and all were good and plentiful. And reasonably priced. We lingered and lingered in respect to the... More

Had lunch here and had the lunch special of delicious Portuguese kale soup and the fish sandwich. Tasty and a good value, also came with soft drink and potato chips.

it's a restaurant with diner seating. Serve Lobster which was pretty good and low cost. The clam chowder was not up to par. neither was the clam with breadcrumbs. was a couple of days before closing down for the season.. maybe they were wrapping up.

We had a craving for Portuguese Kale Soup and was able to find it here. We were not disappointed, it was, if not the best we have had, right up there. Fried Scallops were very fresh and perfectly cooked, juicy with a crunch to the breading. Nice golden fries, nothing special, but cooked right. The decor is a bit dated... More

Jumped off the bus with a few hours to explore Provincetown and grab a light lunch. The Mayflower was the perfect answer. The Lobster roll was perfect. Very friendly servers and good service. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy a lobster dinner. Would definitely return.

In town at lunchtime we decided to call in for a snack. I had a hotdog and a packet of 'chips' (crisps to us Brits) and Mrs G had a BLT and chips. Cheap and cheerful it fitted the bill nicely.

One of the best meals I had on my trip to Cape Cod. Scrod fillets baked in a tomato sauce made with vinegar, onions, green and red peppers and garlic. Get it with rice! It was so great that our group went back a few days later and each ordered our own! This will be my traditional meal every time... More
