My favorite for a delicious lobster roll or fried clams! Close to everything, easy walk up to order and staff are so friendly!

John's is a walk up shack located in the center of Ptown on Standish St., convenient to the bus stop, ferries and McMillan Pier. Several elderly Provincetown natives work there, with all their sweetness and salt. They do have a habit of squashing down your freshly made sandwich with unwashed hands that have just handled the cash register, but I... More

My spouse & I split an order of fish and chips and there was plenty for both of us. The fish is very lightly breaded, served hot & crispy.

I was born a New Englander but now live in VA. John's scallops and clams are the best I have had up and down the coast. Going this weekend and can't wait. This is not a eat in restaurant, you get your food and if you want to sit there is outside seating above.

On the main square, this outlet has large and small size choices. Great if you want a snack or lunch. We choice hotdogs and a grilled cheese for lunch and they were fine.

I tried the fried whole clam roll for lunch and the clams were amazing! The coating was light and crispy, and the whole clam was grease free. Add some of their home made tartar sauce and any lover of fried whole clams will be in heaven!

Snack bar in the middle of town on Commercial Street. Food fried all on a varied menu. Fast food, quick service and polite staff. Inexpensive food options from soups, sides, burgers and dogs! Limited tables located up steps to the side of the restaurant. No parking available provided by the restaurant. Take-out available. Eat on the go! This place has... More
