We had a delightful experience here when we stopped for a very late lunch for 7 people. We were passing by and when we saw how quaint it looked, quickly decided to stop. A great decision! We all loved our food choices, which ranged from...More

Everything was great, except they don't really know how to make a baked stuffed lobster. It was steamed first, and had what seemed like a whole box of ritz crackers on top and I don't think it was baked at all. A baked lobster should...More

My husband and I had dinner there on a Friday night. They were very busy. We did not have a reservation but the wait was short. The atmosphere was very jovial. My husband and I both ordered the lobster bisque which was excellent. For an...More

The only reason they got a 2 is because the waitress was nice and the salad bar was good. I ordered a steak Pittsburgh rare and it back medium. David ordered some baked fish and his was almost raw. Expensive and awful.

The nostalgic atmosphere of this restaurant is it's most valuable asset. The food is good, but I feel a little too high priced for what you get. If you would like to go back in time and have a romantic meal in a renovated grist...More

That cheese curd type cheese is not nearly as good as the cheddar you used to have. Still like going here. Very well remodeled. That one waitress that is very talkative is sweet but she just can’t smoke butts and be allowed to talk to...More

Our cheese plate appetizer was impressively served and delicious! My artichoke flat bread pizza was delicious and filling. His ruben sandwich was a generous portion and very tasty. The potatoes were over cooked. Our waitress was very attentive.

My husband selected this restaurant for his birthday dinner. We opted for a table in the bar area, as it seemed cozy and quiet. Heather , our server, promptly introduced herself, and took our drink order. She was obviously over whelmed / overbooked...but it all...More

this is a question for the restaurant itself, but it's a great place to do something like this and they now have a nice 'room' with bar to host such functions. it's a wonderful location!

Some of the meals include the salad bar and some you pay extra for. The salad bar has a little bit of everything so to me it is worth the extra money. I do not know if you can have the salad as an entrée.
