This market in the middle of Stockbridge is a convenient place to get sandwiches and groceries. They have a good variety, but the prepared foods are pretty average and the prices a bit high.

My wife and I wanted a small meal in the middle of the afternoon. We were happy to have stumbled upon this lunch counter. The look and feel brought me back to my childhood in the sixties. I had two grilled dogs with kraut. My wife had a grilled roast beef sandwich and a vanilla milkshake. Everything tasted just as... More

Wife and I stopped for lunch. Grabbed two seats at the counter, pleasantly greeted by the owner/cook. We ordered up a Reuben and Elmo's club, along with two vanilla shakes. Shakes were awesome/filling; sandwiches were right on target....tasty and satisfying. Not much conversation from the fella behind the counter, but he did greet those who walked by. Seemed to be... We love Nejaime's in Lenox and Stockbridge. Form great wine or selection of beer or esoteric cheese, go there. Bu it you just want a salad for dinner (two of us ate one for $10) or a sandwich for lunch and not super expensive cheese and a beer or soft drink and chips, I suggest this store. We had a... More

This place is a blast from the past. I recommend that you seek it out if you are in Stockbridge. It's a small grocery store with a grill where you can sit down and have food, or you can order it to go. I was looking for a quick lunch and came here for a sandwich and they did a... More

Stopped here for a sandwich to take on a picnic. The staff doesn't appear to care at all one way or another. Somewhat rude. The $9 roast beef sandwich I had was stringy and had nothing on it but a little mayo. We won't be back. There are MUCH nicer places right around the corner on main street.

What a place to meet everybody in Stockbridge. Durval is the chef - what a great guy and a terrific chef! Been going there for years - i have never seen him write an order down. Everything is cooked perfectly. He is a quiet soul - tremendous confidence - The guy is worth his weight in gold!

Looking for a reasonable priced breakfast spot. This worked well. I had a hash omelet, Wife had a vegetarian omelet. Conversation with cook was most enjoyable. Pleasant fellow. we gave him a 33% breakfast tip.

Only market in town. They carry the basics and some fine food items. Definitely not friendly but when the closest store is 20 minutes away...

We received this as a package that we won. We ordered sandwiches which were very good. They had salads, drinks, pastries, wine, and many other things. There are a couple of tables to eat. We sat near the window and watched the outside going ons.
