Probably the largest sandwiches offered in Martha's Vineyard. Really a take-out, with a few seats. Live here year round, have eaten their food many times.

We visited Humphrey's on our last trip to Martha's Vineyard in September 2017 and were very satisfied with the food and the service. But this time the service was not very good. Our party of seven ordered their food and the first order came out...More
This is the second time I visited the bakery. Sandwiches are delicious--and huge. I had a "turkey gobbler", a huge sandwich with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce, served on sourdough bread. A winner.
Friendly staff, great baked goods and the best Cuban sandwiches that we've had in a long time. We definitely recommend stopping at Humphrey's if you visit the Vineyard!
Humphrey's is an institution! It's signature Gobbler sandwich is definitely a two-mealer as are its other sandwiches. Its downright sinful donuts, freshly made right there, are always a quick sell-out, as are the sticky buns made only on Wednesdays. Ask for the "belly bomb", but...More
We just discovered this place - what a find. The sandwiches are HUGE (plenty big enough to split even if you are very hungry) and the bread is all homemade and delicious. They are pretty quick making them and we felt it was well worth...More
Relaxed sandwich spot in Vineyard Haven. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I need to try something other than the Gobbler, but why bother. It's a gorgeous double-fist sandwich packed with turkey and stuffing. Oatmeal Break recommended. Chunks of cranberry sauce. Never hold the mayonnaise.
The Gobbler turkey sandwich and the treehugger veggie choice were loved by all. Definitely more of a take out place although there are tables available.
I live here, and regularly go to Humphreys. Go on-line, pick out sandwiches and call in an order. They have indoor and outdoor tables, but it's really a take-out place. Totally reliable. Sandwiches feed two normal people, or one for lunch and dinner.
The bakery items we ordered were absolutely delicious. They tasted like doughnuts should taste, not like the artifical stuff sold in stores. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast! The items sell out fast, so get their early for good selection.
