Hard to go wrong with Lizzies. Ice cream is great, and they have some other things that are good too, like lime rickeys. The ice cream is made on the premises in the clean kitchen downstairs (I've been to the office downstairs to book a party and met one of the family members who owns the business)

Best homemade ice cream in Waltham. Ice Cream Cakes are also available here in a range of sizes. I ordered one for my husbands birthday and we totally loved it. You have to give an order in advance for ice cream cakes. Must try!

Lizzy's is one of the only places in Waltham where I can order a malt. Yum! I also love their mocha almond and Bailey's Irish Cream flavors. Their ice cream is creamy and delicious. There are plenty of options - frappes (apparently they're not shakes on the East Coast), sundaes, cups, cones, etc. They also serve frozen yogurt, from what... More

We were in town for our daughter's freshman orientation at Brandeis. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we headed over to Lizzie's. We were not disappointed! My wife had Black Cherry and Cake Batter; our daughter had Mint Oreo and I had Mocha Almond and Charles River Crunch (go with the local name!). All of the flavors were delicious. It was so... More

My husband and I lived in waltham 20 years ago when lizzys opened. We had mocha lace all the time. We were visiting the area with our kids and stopped in after dinner on Saturday night. Just as terrific as we remembered. Kids had banana ice cream and banana split and both were great. We were glad to see they... More

Delicious ice cream in reasonable portions -really enjoyed the chocolate almond joy and chocolate choc chip. Pricey, but worth it.

A multitude of ice cream's, ices, sundaes and smoothies. Between the three of us we had five different flavors, and all were good. The selections include all your favorites but I was also surprised to find orange-pineapple, and it was goooood. They also have a wide selection of cakes and other desserts. There is table seating available. The only reason... More

I enjoyed going there for ice cream after dinner. I think I am going to go there again in the future. Servings are generous.
